We’d like to introduce one of our new services, theWPDesigner.co.uk, that’s been running for around six months now as is proving to be quite popular. As the name suggests, it involves bespoke theme designing for the very popular blog/cms platform, WordPress, and is ideal for the small businesses, startups and individuals who have a tight budget, are happy to enter their content themselves and have a slightly restrictive layout compared to our full bespoke website design/development service (where we format/style the content ourselves).

Another feature packed release of SwitchCar goes live

It’s been a while since we’ve posted anything but we’ve been working hard on the SwitchCar website adding additional features and functionality. And so, today saw us publish another release – check it out here!

Upgrade to WordPress 2.7!

We’ve been so busy building WordPress 2.7 websites for our clients recently that we neglected our own. So, we’ve finally upgraded our website to 2.7.1 from 2.6 and we’re happy to say we haven’t had a problem with WP or any of the plugins we had installed (touch wood!).

The upgrade process was pretty much straightforward and we’re looking forward to using the new features – this is the first post using the new admin area – we like it!

Site Launch: Switchcar

Well, it’s our first website launch for 2009 and it turns out to be quite a biggy. We been working with the client over the last month or so on designing and building this website and I have to say it looks absolutely fantastic (if I say so myself!) – clean, simple and user-friendly – just how we like it.

The website is a complete bespoke solution and allows the client to upload details of their car stock, including specifications and photographs, via a backend admin area.

Earlier this month, Dubbed Creative launched the new website for Sach Photography.

WordPress 2.6 brings host of new features

The latest version of WordPress (2.6) was released today almost a month ahead of schedule. This latest version brings a number of new features that make WordPress a much more powerful CMS. Some of the key features include:

Post Revisions – You can now keep track of edits and rollback to previous versions of content, as well as compare them.
Press This! – Quickly add a post whilst browsing the web via the click of a bookmarklet.
Revamped image control
And a load of other updates

Redesign of Business Breakthrough’s Website

This week saw the launch of Business Breakthrough’s new website, designed by Dubbed Creative. The site houses a lot of key information and so the challenge was to present this information in an easy to follow manner by use of a clean look and feel and a clear menu structure.

After two previous experiences with web development companies who promised much and failed to deliver, Dubbed Creative have been both reliable and inspirational.

Not only have they met all the design criteria we demanded within budget and on time, they have proved to be great Ã¢ÂÂpartnersÃ¢ÂÂ, enabling us to adapt quickly to any change.
